SALT LAKE CITY – A new report from Quote Wizard indicates Utah drivers are the worst in the nation.
SALT LAKE CITY – According to a recent study conducted by QuoteWizard, Utah is the state with the worst drivers in the country. The study examined over 10 million insurance quotes to determine the best and worst states for drivers, taking into account each state's accident, speeding ticket, DUI, and citation rates.
Utah ranked first among all 50 states in terms of the number of speeding tickets issued, second in terms of citations, fifth in terms of accidents, and eighth in terms of DUIs. California, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Ohio rounded out the top five states with the worst drivers, according to the study.
In contrast, Connecticut was named the best-driving state, followed by Massachusetts, Virginia, Maine, and New York.
The findings of the study emphasize the importance of safe driving practices and the need for continued efforts to promote safe driving habits across the country. While Utah may have ranked as the worst state for drivers, there is always room for improvement and the opportunity for drivers to take steps to become safer on the road.
