SALT LAKE CITY – According to a recent study conducted by QuoteWizard, Utah is the state with the worst drivers in the country. Utah ranked first among all 50 states in terms of the number of speeding tickets issued, second in terms of citations, fifth in terms of accidents, and eighth in terms of DUIs. California, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Ohio rounded out the top five states with the worst drivers, according to the study.

In contrast, Connecticut was named the best-driving state, followed by Massachusetts, Virginia, Maine, and New York.
